Fun Fact About Me: I am married with 3 beautiful, young girls. I love a good murder mystery, and in my spare time I like to jog or quilt!
I am a Texan through-and-through! I choose my restaurants based on their chips and salsa and I will drive miles out of the way to find Blue Bell, Dr Pepper, or the perfect glass of sweet tea. I’m an accidental Kodaly teacher!
I secretly wish I was a musical theater actor. (It’s not a secret anymore!) Every once in a while I might run a really, slow half marathon!
Most of my experience comes from being an independent teacher, teaching early childhood music and piano lessons privately.
I love to read. I am a fan of fantasy fiction- you know…. Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and Eragon to name a few. I also enjoy action adventure novels.
The 2017-2018 school year will be my 19th as a teacher! I have taught K-6 music in Texas (outside of Houston) for 16 of those years.
I was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. I have taught in both North Carolina and South Carolina. I currently teach elementary music in Little River, SC (Horry County Schools) near Myrtle Beach!
