VIRTUAL CONFERENCE 2025

Join us for a FREE virtual conference for music educators on July 10–11!
We’ll cover a wide range of topics packed with practical tips you can use right away in your classroom.

To attend, simply join our conference group on Facebook. All sessions will be streamed live in the group and recorded, so you can rewatch them anytime.

FAQ

  • Join The Music Crew Collaborative, answer the questions and wait to be admitted.
  • Once you have access to the group, the sessions will be posted starting at 11:00am EST. 
  • Some sessions will be live and others will be pre-recorded.
  • The conference will be Thursday-Friday, July 10-11 starting at 11:00am EST.
  • To make it easy, we’ve created a calendar, which you can integrate with your own calendar here (Google Calendars) or here (iCal).

You don’t have to sign up! Just make sure you are part of The Music Crew Collaborative, turn on your notifications for the group, and you will see it when it posts. 

  • (Go to The Music Crew Collaborative, click on the triple dots to the right, below the timeline picture > manage notifications > all posts.)
  • Here is the schedule.
  • You can also download the calendar (above), which will have the time and details of each session.
    • Some of the handouts will not be active until just before the session begins.
You’ll want to refresh your page each time it’s time for a new session to start. If it doesn’t show up right away, wait a few minutes and try again- sometimes it takes a minute for new posts to load!

A printable PD certificate is available here. Our Michigan friends can even get SCECHS.

To qualify for SCHECHs,  you must do the following:

  • watch the videos live as they are posted in The Music Crew Collaborative
  • Comment on each post to verify watching live, including prerecorded sessions
    • Make sure to comment on the post in The Music Crew Collaborative, NOT in a YouTube video
  • Fill out this form
  • Fill out the evaluation from the state of Michigan when you get it

Sessions will be available to watch for the foreseeable future, so if you can’t watch them the day they are posted, you will have plenty of time to catch up!

What do my funds support?

Your donation goes towards the cost of registering, hosting, and maintaining this website.  Here we are able to provide curated resource lists, blog posts, and training and demonstrations for your classroom.

In addition, funds support the development of the virtual conference put on in the summer by The Music Crew.  When safe to travel, funds also support The Music Crew’s travels to local and state music education conferences (as vendors and presenters, not attendees).

Funds do not go towards the profit of any individual member of The Music Crew.
